Ramses Shaffy was one of the best known Dutch chansonniers. During his career he released many songs which grew into classics. On the compilation album Let Me Come All the wonderful music of Ramses together. In addition to the title song ''Let Me'', there are many praised songs such as ''Sammy'', ''Sing, Fight, cry, pray, laugh, work and admire'' and ''Pastorale''. In 2009, he died at the age of 76 after a long sickness bed, but his music still lives on.
